Truth – Day 14

How sad that in 2 thousand years, man has not learned that God is great and His word is Truth. People are still refusing to believe in a God who created the world. A God that created a beautiful place with no sin, no destruction, where nothing degraded or rotted!

Romans 1:25

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen.

The Thought

Verses 18-25 of this chapter make hard reading, and describe much of society today. How sad that in 2 thousand years, man has not learned that God is great and His word is Truth. People are still refusing to believe in a God who created the world. A God that created a beautiful place with no sin, no destruction, where nothing degraded or rotted!

All was well until Eve gave in to temptation! From that point on, man’s relationship with his maker went downhill.

Of course there were many good people in future generations, but many bad ones too. Today there are people who are spiritually blind and cannot see God’s beautiful creation and say “He is Lord”, but rather, “all these things developed naturally through evolution”! They say “God doesn’t exist, there was no creator, but the animal species developed over millions of years, from fish swimming in the sea to humans walking on two legs!”

That takes a lot of imagination!

How long do you suppose it took a fish to develop legs, and then wait for a partner who did the same?

How can people worship the sun and moon and not even think about the creator of those majestic things?

Action

Read Romans 1 today and think about the society we live in. Pray for a revival that will change hearts, and behaviour in our nations. Pray for those you know who do not have Biblical knowledge of The Truth, that Jesus would reveal Himself to them. Remember that He died for all, and loves every person whether they know it or not.

Pray for the education system in your country that those who have high level authority will see the urgency to know and teach truth to all our children.
