Renewing the Mind – Day 26

Ephesians 1:18-19

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.

The Thought

The Holy Spirit opens our hearts and minds to Biblical truths as we prayed yesterday. This is so that we can recognize and use all that is available to us in the name of Jesus. He does it so that we will go deeper with Him. He does it so that we will be His hands and feet on the earth. So that we will pray for those around us, and with those around us.

Sadly many Christian churches in the west today have a feeble idea of the power that we can tap into. Those who know God can do so much more than attend church services and watch their leaders do the miracles, The challenge is to all of us.

Sadly, much of the Christian church in the world is so persecuted that they must do everything in secret! But in those churches, they are seeing miracles in their midst. People are being healed, and raised from the dead. There are good stories available to encourage if we will only look for them.

How many miracles have you seen this week? Even if you are part of a very lively successful church, there is always more to do. God’s plan is for ALL to be saved and healed and delivered (1 Timothy 2:4).

Action

Praise God for His plans for All people to be saved, healed and delivered. Praise Him for the power of Jesus available for us today.

Pray for the right use of that power, and an increase of miracles in your own life and the life of your church.
