This post, the second day in a series about "The Life of Joseph," discusses Genesis 37:4-7, where Joseph’s dreams fuel his brothers' hatred. The author reflects on why Joseph shared his dreams and suggests it might have been God's plan. The post encourages readers to contemplate their own lives and God's plan for them.
This is the first in a series of studies about “The Life of Joseph”. The Life of Joseph – Day 1 Genesis 30:22-24 Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.” She named […]
The closing verse of the whole book of psalms gives us a very short command. The noise of our natural world is much more varied than we think, and many things that do not have breath can be heard to make noise too, and seem to be praising the Lord.

We were created to sing His praises! That should be so easy to do. How sad that too many of us get too busy to even give Him a thought during our day. Maybe to sing for joy on our beds would be a good way to start each day!

They eventually settled in their promised land but once more became unhappy and asked God for an earthly king, that is when Saul was chosen.
After the Israelites had escaped from Egypt by crossing the Red Sea and seen Pharaoh and his army drown in the sea that had parted for the people of God, Moses sang a spontaneous song of praise. At the end his sister Miriam took a tambourine and began to dance.
