What an amazingly exciting time that must have been! We cannot imagine being an onlooker as everything we take for granted today was placed in the cosmos or on the earth, chosen and blessed by the creator God, and designed to have life in abundance!

What an amazing time that must have been in the beginning; to be there and watch Creator God at work! There must have been moving images, producing an experience better than any cartoon designer can portray; better than any artist can draw or paint.

Many of us look at some of the decisions made by world leaders today and wonder what happened to wisdom! The answer is that it still exists, and can be found in Jesus, the Son of Father God, the creator of the world, who made man in His image!

Having authority over the enemy is not something that is focused on in too many churches. That is an error that must be corrected if we, the ones who call ourselves the people of God or followers of Jesus, are to succeed in bringing others into the kingdom.

Whilst preparing this study, I read this verse aloud to anyone who cared to listen! Actually I was alone, so there was no-one to hear, but that did not matter! It seemed such a great encouraging verse that it deserved to be read aloud for others to hear the message!

Jesus still sends out His people today. That is you and me, and we must be ready at all times to pray for others and cast out the demons when necessary. The Name of Jesus is still as powerful today as it was then.

Millions of people throughout the centuries have tried to find wealth and prosperity in the ways of the world, never knowing that true success came from the wisdom of the Lord which is freely available to all who care to look for it.

No matter how well we know Jesus, or how many years we have been serving Him, there is always more to learn, more revelation to receive from Him. His love is never ending, and He is the only God who loves to give good things to His people.

God chooses our leaders, whether they know it or not. But some of us have great difficulty believing that God has chosen some of the ones we hear and see on our media screens in 2024! His plans are so different to ours!

We must remember that God is saying in this verse that those leaders who are chosen by Him, and listen to Him once they are in power are the best, most just leaders. It is important in the political turmoil of our world that we choose honest God-fearing leaders.
