Each book in the 30 day book series is intended to supply daily readings for a month. Each day there is a verse following the theme of the title, a short teaching, thought or challenge on the verse followed by suggestions for prayer and praise. Each day can take as long as you like depending on the time available and the meditation time the reader wants to invest. By grouping 3 or 4 days together, each book can be used for housegroups during 6 to 7 weeks.
Fire can be good, it helps to cook our food, to heat our homes and our hearts but it can also kill and destroy, in an arid place, nothing can stop it. A house fire or a forest fire are not experiences that we seek after.
In our churches we hear it said that our hearts should be on fire for the Lord but do we really understand what that means?

In this short study of several biblical references of fire my hope is that you be encouraged to really think about the Fire of God, its reality, its nature, its action.
